I cured my putting yips and as Dave says, rhythm is SO important - I found the best way to reprogram was to practice a few with one hand (both left and right) , change my grip to "the claw", and to start putting with my eyes shut, just focusing on where to stop the club on the back swing and where to stop the club on the follow through. Took a couple of months of work on the putting green but worked, and permanently. For a while you can even putt eyes closed on the course too - best thing is your playing pals don't even know you're doing it! I still can feel edgy on a 3 footer sometimes, like I know it's going to happen, but the best thing is that if I do, no problem, just close my eyes and focus on the swing remembering that missing the putt is way less embarrassing than yipping it!

Yes, the fear is transforming into excitement. So relaxed at set up now. It's bizarre. But I just follow your Wired to Win principles. Imprinting amazing shots now. Thank you Dave! I've been studying your Wired to Win program and want to share my current results (I'm about 85% through all 8 mods - 3 1/2 weeks into program...). Being honest with myself to get what I want quicker. Becoming a leak stopping machine. Imagining my shots, imprinting lovely shots. A legit, easy-to-execute pre-swing routine (still tuning it up). I'm not done with the series but I'm becoming the kind of golfer I wanted to believe was possible, and now it's opening my mind to what's REALLY possible for me in my game. Hello you beautiful flock of birdies out here on the golf course! ACTUAL RESULTS: When I'm on the golf course now, it's like I'm home. The "nervous feeling", fear, apprehension, self-doubt that was plaguing my mind has vacated. I can't explain it. Ok, maybe I can: "I am a leak stopping machine!" Oh, yes. The tension in my arms has gone away as a result. I'm not squeezing the hell out of the grip anymore. I'm swinging the club using my entire body, like I've been learning from my golf mentor. Crispy shots. The ball is getting all that once wasted energy and it's expressing it with further carries through an effortless and crispy swing (a vast majority of the time now). Do I still slice occasionally? Only if I wasn't truly mentally all in my preparation. But now, when it's a shit shot, I'm able to understand what made it so, and how to correct for it on the very next swing. I've been golfing since Jan 2020. Well, that's when I started practicing in an empty field. I was gradually improving the the recent months, but what's been happening since "Wired to Win" (3 weeks now) is truly wonderful. A substantial increase in quality of play (and score reduction) and a super boost of pleasure and enjoyment on the course. ps. no, I'm not a paid shill. I saw one of David Breslow's youtube videos where he kept saying: You can imagine yourself driving the ball deep down the center of the fairway, can't you? Yes you can. You can imagine yourself striking gorgeous approach shots within feet of the pin, can't you? Yes you can. You can imagine yourself hitting sweet puts for par and birdie time and time again, can't you? Yes you can. Yes, I can David. And I do. All throughout the day. That's what sold me. For what it's worth, it works. Thanks for creating this program David.

wow Jerry!! I'm so pleased with your results!!! The human body performs brilliantly when mind.body/emotion and energy are aligned, eh? You are experiencing it!!!! Hi Dave. I've immediately implemented this advice with very positive results. Only part of your video that I question is when you say "don't try this for the whole round, if you're not used to trusting, no way you can do this for 18 holes". I understand it's something that will take practice, but don't really understand only doing it for 3 holes. Why? Surely one should be 100% committed to the concept 100% of the time and the ability to do it successfully for the entire round will improve? For me, when I hit a bad shot, I accept that I simply hit a bad shot rather than dismissing your recommended approach as ineffective.

    • @DavidBreslow
